About
Dr. Evan’s passion for nutritional science and human performance developed from his time training as an athlete on the Canadian Sailing Team. He completed his PhD at the University of Toronto, Department of Nutritional Sciences, Faculty of Medicine where he investigated the effects of nutritional supplementation for nerve function in athletes. The positive results from this research lead to investigating the same solution as a targeted nutritional therapy for the most common diabetes complication, diabetic neuropathy. This research lead to the development of Frontline.
Dr. Evan's research has received funding awards from the Canadian Institute for Health Research, the Banting & Best Diabetes Centre and Diabetes Canada.
